Importing 3DS files
I made an object in .3DS that I want to import in SweetHome 3D. How can I get the colors I set in the editor (Wings 3D) in SweetHome 3D? I downloaded an object from the internet which shows colors in both Wings and SweetHome. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Importing 3DS files
i have the same problem plus the following:
- sometimes i try to download some 3ds from the internet and i get a non-3d picture which obviously i can't use
- if i try to create my own obj i get a white object without the chance to assign a texture or a color
- if i download a 3ds from the internet i get a white item and i cannot assign a texture or color

Re: Importing 3DS files
i noticed that in the last step of the importation if i change the measures it works

Re: Importing 3DS files
Could you send me the file or the link to the file that caused this problem ?

Re: Importing 3DS files
I have the same question about importing 3D files with textures. I've a 3D painting with frame and picture, but when I'm importing it with the Import furniture command I'm only getting the frame and no picture at all. I'm using Poser 7.

Apart from that the programme is an absolute joy!

Re: Importing 3DS files
Create a zip file that contains the 3DS file and its textures. Then import the zip file.
