How to draw a 2 floor level room? I could not find the way to do it. My main room has got a floor on the left which is levelled, and the other part of the floor on the right is 40cm higher. I tried to build a "room inside the room" with small walls 40cm high, and then select the option to show only the roof, but it won't work, I cannot see it. Any idea? Thanks, JP [Note: this thread was started on sourceforge.net forums] |

Re: How to draw a 2 floor level room? The current version of Sweet Home 3D doesn't manage levels and half-levels. Your attempt to create a "room inside the room" didn't work visually because ceilings can be seen only from below! At this moment, a workaround is to use one or more 40 cm high boxes (Miscellaneous > Box in the catalog) that spreads on the floor of the room. I know it's not the best solution but it works! ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
