@Puybaret

These things happen, thanks for listening and fixing.

i just got a watch summary from webmaster @ eteks.com

i am using a cPanel based server and I have done 2 things:

1) checked my delivery logs and no email arrives at my server (or is not shown in log)
2) I had my server company to also check their logs to see they had blocked upstream and they say they do not block and nor could they find any webmaster ...

I think there could be an issue with the webmaster@ email being used for thread emails. This is probably instantly seen as spam by many email servers.

The other one is if php mail( ) function is being used instead of a real email via SMTP etc..

I am not using gmail. My servers use cPanel.

i have opened a new thread for the forum emails not getting sent so this thread does not go off topic.

I am not receeving forum thread emails, is anyone else having this issue?

I know what is like to be a programmer and a user. I only get to look this software for the first time once, so I thought I might make notes as I went.

@hansmex The red things are for me to go back and recheck, thanks for reminding me. Also are you getting email notifications for forum thread ...

when i make a new thread sometimes I spot a mistake that I want to change but all I have is the option to delete the thread.

Can this be changed yo allow editing?

thanks

While learning and using Sweet Home 3D for the first time I made notes on most things I came across. These notes are aimed at those just starting out rather than experienced people.

These notes are just and links but just use Ctrl + F and you might be surprised.

I hope it helps someone.
