Re: Multi-Level Home by Gemelli Scrimieri

Before asking this question, I did, of course, do some searching. I found a few illustrations, but I’m curious about exactly how this house was made so that I can understand the principle and use it as a model to create similar houses. Thank you for trying to answer.

Multi-Level Home by Gemelli Scrimieri

Greetings!

In the tutorial “How to Create a Multi-Level Home” , there's a picture of a beautiful house designed by Gemelli Scrimieri. Could you tell me if it's available for download?

Re: Columns, Beams, and Roofs

[1] You can set a negative elevation to the level. [Elevation] This is how basements are made.

[2] What is actually a roof? You can make it in another program and import it into SH3D. And here you can rotate it and place it.

Re: Sweet Home 3D people survey

If it's still relevant.

I use Sweet Home 3D to create games.
And it would be very convenient if there would be support for exporting to glTF.

I'm exploring the possibility of using Sweet Home 3D to create games.

Re: Export to glTF format

Maybe this will be of interest to someone here. Trying to make a constructor in the game engine to create buildings and discussing the implementation of Sweet Home 3D features in it.

Re: Export to glTF format

glTF is, in fact, a new standard for transferring models between 3D modeling programs and game engines.

Re: Export to glTF format

Huge thanks for the detailed answer!

I am studying game development. I have Blender as my "standardization stage". First all models are loaded into it, and then into the game engine — Godot 4 , which has its own import from Blender.

My idea is to try to make an alternative to The Sims [3] (this is ...

Export to glTF format

Greetings!

Is it possible to add export to glTF format ? If, in addition, the walls and furniture could be separated (would be in different groups — "Collections" in Blender) — that would be wonderful.
