Hello dorin.
I'm glad you want to know what I imagine.

There is a mansard viewed from a certain perspective above. Please ignore the transparent boxes. The mansard does have a gablet (in the bottom) and an ornament (in the top ...

Re: Help me please with ideas to make this Roof
Hello all of you guys.
Captaincook:
I'll be checking the castle and asking you questions, if you don't mind. Thanks a lot for sharing it. 😊
keet:
Do you think is possible to suggest a plugin to generate mansards, by imagining how it would work? I mean, from someone who never has written a line of ...

Re: Help me please with ideas to make this Roof
WOW!
Thanks all of you for your answers and the good mood about my project.
I hope soon to share the mansion with its roof.
I decided to create a Mansard version of the lego pieces to create (almost) any mansard you want.
Working on it.
And of course I'll use the conic roof provided by Keet ...

Re: adding wall openings
In case the set of solutions result still useful for somebody, here is what I would do:
Add a door frame.
Go to Furniture options, by pressing Ctrl+E.
Change door frame height and width, even elevation, if necessary.
A service hatch would be useful, too.
Have a nice day.

Please add images, since A picture is worth a thousand words.
Anyway, if I get what you want...
I would adjust the picture to be rendered at night, so you control entirely where lights are located.

Pero conste que no sé tanto como los usuarios vetes de este foro, que desarrollan plugins y esas cosas.

Re: How to show interior parts hidden by walls
In my experience, it is better to use the Aerial 3D view than the visitor, specially if "Aerial View centered on selection" is enabled. Look for it in options, after pressing Ctrl+M. It offers to you faster and wider points of view than the visitor, always you have selected an object to use as an ...
