And when magnetism is active, shouldn't whatever you draw, snap to the grid?
ie want to draw a 9x5 box, starting at 0:0 top left, but have to scale out to see the whole box. If I start very close to 0:0, shouldn't it snap there, such that x is exactly on the 9m mark, and y is on the 5m...?
Thanks.

Re: 2 storey - floor - wall - floor -wall
Is there any way to view the properties of something?
ie Draw a floor, and try and view the actual size after finishing, but the only way I can see is to open the Advance Editing and check it through there... VERY tedious.
Surely it would be more sensible to have a window that stays on screen, that ...

2 storey - floor - wall - floor -wall
Trying to do a 2 storey house.
Watching tutorials, suggestion seems to be draw: GndFloorRoom => GndFloorWall => Add level => 1stFloorRoom => 1stFloorWall....
For the life of me, can't get anything to line up!
eg
Draw GndFloorRoom as 13x9m
Draw GndFloorWall by double clicking on floor - don't know ...

Creating a veranda (porch/patio/balcony)?
Wondering how to create a veranda?
Have searched, and can't find anything that really points me in the right direction.
Is there a tutorial/video somewhere?
Thanks,
John.

Re: How to delete items (specifically walls...)
Anyone? Should I perhaps see if I can update Java, although apparently I am up to date?

Re: How to delete items (specifically walls...)
Yep, have just installed, and only trying to create a new file. All I have done is create a wall, then try to delete it.. Have tried the various options to delete - right-click menu, delete key, top menus - all give the same response (ie just appears to "unselect" the wall - not delete)

How to delete items (specifically walls...)
Just started using this, but for the life of me, can't figure out how to delete anything. eg create a wall, decide it's wrong, and want to delete, so select it, right click, and click delete, all it seems to do is unselect it... if I modify and make it 0 length, I can *sort* of (sometimes) delete it ...
