That worked for mee too. I just added a slight modification due to the version number and ran from comd line:
SweetHome3D-5.7-windows.exe /j3d.version=1.5.2 /os.arch=x86
in order to reinstall from scratch my new SH3D version. While my previous 5.7 plain installation did terribly slow down on 3D ...
