The online version does support 3D models import, PDF/SVG/OBJ export, and almost all the features of the downloadable version. Just sign in and explore contextual menus to use these features.
One key difference between the online and the other version is that furniture imported in the catalog won't be saved from one session to the other, whereas imported furniture added to the plan will be saved (in the limit of a 2 MB file in the current version).
