Plug-ins do work under Mac OS X. What is the absolute path of the "Library/Application Support/eTeks/Sweet Home 3D/plugins" folder you indicated?

Also when i try to open sweet home 3d jar file on mac, it wont open, i have java installed as well.

You probably try to run it with Java 7 that Sweet Home 3D doesn't support yet under Mac OS X.
