I'm new with SweetHome and starting with the same problem:
In the kids room I have a two-color painted wall. The 1st 120cm are painted with a kind of purple and the rest up to the ceiling is plain white.
So I created a texture with both colors and imported it to SweetHome. In the import options I adjusted the height of the texture to the height of the wall (e.g. 250cm).
The texture will be shown but the purpled tile is centered in the middle with TWO white stripes - one at the bottom and one at the top.
