well on my project I'm using the same door in all places, and sometimes it works correctly, other times not. Also, sometimes it works for the room one side, but not the room the other side. I've not yet tried making it thicker than the wall. It wasn't the alignment, checked that and one incorrect one was perfectly aligned.
