Any idea how to check Java version an how to replace it with Sun/Oracle Java.
I'm new to Linux.
I went to Synaptics Package Manager and it found hundreds of components containing word java.
However, when I went to Sun's web page and clicked on verify Java it found no Java installed.
Does that help?
