Woopsie: I agree with what you've said about the code. I think Emmanuel's code is very well written, beautifully laid out and easy to understand.

I think a jar file is actually a tar (and can be compressed like .tar.gz). The Java community have the habit to take other people's standards, implement them in Java and rename them with a J. So, ODBC, asp and tar become JDBC, jsp and jar. Presumably if there was a standard called funk, it be junk in Java land! [:D]
