In this text file, replace the
installationFolder folder by the one where [font=courier new]SweetHome3D[/font] program is stored.
If you want an icon (not mandatory), download
this one (it will be also available in the installation folder of the next version 5.3).
Once the [font=courier new]sweethome3d.desktop[/font] file is ready, move it in the folder [font=courier new] ~/.local/share/applications[/font] (if you want to make it available only to you) or in [font=courier new]/usr/share/applications[/font] (for all systems users).
Finally, choose the
Open with > Other application... item in the contextual menu of the .sh3d file you want to open, and in the displayed dialog box, click on the
Show other applications to select
Sweet Home 3D.
