I just tried on a brand new image of Ubuntu 17.10 64 bit, and both scripts [font=courier new]SweetHome3D[/font] and [font=courier new]SweetHome3D-Java3D-1_5_2[/font] run correctly (but with Java 3D 1.5.2, furniture seen from the top in the plan was black).
