Did you also try to run dxwebsetup.exe as proposed here and/or the new parameters [font=courier new]/j3d.version=1.5.2 /os.arch=x86[/font] available for the installer and described here?
If neither solution works, you could also try to copy the jre8 folder of the version 5.3 to the same folder of your version 5.6.
