You will find a lot of "not perfect parts", but not the ones you talked about. SW3D is not perfect but hey, it's FREE!
In my opinion the rendering power of SW3D is absolutly state of the art!
You mentioned about the sharpness? You have to raise the resolution! This is possible in SW3D (the pic above has over 64MP), but it will consume a lot of time and patience.
