Why not trying the official version available at
SourceForge.net?
It contains two scripts to launch Sweet Home 3D: [font=courier new]SweetHome3D[/font] and [font=courier new]SweetHome3D-Java3D-1_5_2[/font] which should work if the first one doesn't.
