I just wanted to add to this post as it helped me, and I only stumbled upon this thread via a chain of fortunate events. Same method worked for me with iPad/MacOS.

Using the method outlined by @Puybaret in the second post of this thread: You can fairly easily Sync between Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS devices.
