You used Menu > Furniture > Import furniture to import the library. Below that menu option is another option: Menu > Furniture > Import furniture library
First remove the single furniture item: click once on the item in the catalog pane and press the delete button. Choose Delete from the confirmation dialog.
Now import using the correct function :Import furniture library.
