I totally get your frustration I have faced the same issue while designing furniture models for Shop Tresi. Everything works fine one day, and then suddenly the import just hangs on the orientation preview with no warning. Tried reinstalls, cache clears, even different models same freeze every time. It is killing my workflow and deadlines.
Would love to hear if anyone found a solid fix.
