Maybe in the future there can be other bevel shape options but not sure that's possible like a convex and concave curved bevel choices too...

Take a look at my DodecagonShapes library. I have added rounded bevel shapes for an inset bevel. The shapes for an outside rounded bevel have been part of the library for a long time.
You could have created similar shapes with the new MBC plugin but it would require several steps to get to the inset corner. And of course the shapes in the library are optimized to only have those faces that are visible.
