And I've tried rotating light bulbs, I've tried rotating the light angle knob, but whenever I checked the use light~power knob box, it won't render. It's not dark, it doesn't render at all.

Please can you post your sh3f file so can have a look and see what might be causing the problem?

Yes it was Emmanuel and myself. Emmanuel wrote the improved code while I annoyed him with ideas and lots and lots of tweaks for settings and test results [:D] as we tried to improve render speeds and overcome some problems. By the way the lights part wasn't too bad. [:)]
