I'm not the installation specialist, that's Emmanuel, but there's a few remarks I'd like to make.

1 "Latest downloads" means you are using SH3D v3.0 beta 14. As far as I know you can't use the Adv.Render plug-in with that version. At least >I< can't (under Linux-Ubuntu). This plug-in works only on the installed version. Is says so clearly in the plug-in tutorial!

Note 1: This plug-in only works on the installed version of SweetHome3D.

So, you have to choose:
- use the installed version 2.6 and the Adv.Render plug-in, or
- use the newer v3.0 b14 and use 3D view --> Create photo , which basically gives you the same possibilities and quality, but now built into the program

2 - I doubt that AdvancedRendering-1.6.sh3p.sh3d is a valid file name. But maybe it's just a typo. A plug-in ends in .sh3p and a saved design file ends in .sh3d.
