Re: Is there a way to cut / trim items?
Thanks Keet. I had a feeling that was going to be it. I will just do them with standard lumber.

Is there a way to cut / trim items?
<r>Hi again. I have been working on my building and created some rafters with joiner plates in Blender.<br/>
I exported them, and they work great, with one issue. Since I made them for the center section, once I get to a different area they are too long. <br/>

This is a simple building. It will only have a single 20A 120V source of power from the house we live in. The only water and drainage will be supplied by natural means, i/e collected rainwater and or a tank that is filled by other means. There may be a Gas Tankless Water ...

Re: Concept to creation. Project has begun.
<r>Good question. That is where there will be 3, 36" doorways near the center of the walls. I believe a double plate and a good header above the doorways will be a good idea. I will see if I can find a render of the finished building.<br/>

Re: Cutting an angle on flooring and lumber
Thanks Keet. I am using blender quite a bit, and since the cuttoffs work out to all be the same, I will probably just create my sheets and sill plates with that and import them.
Have a couple of days of rain coming, so I will play with it then.

Cutting an angle on flooring and lumber
<t>Greetings all. I was wondering if there is an easy way to cut an angle on a sheet of plywood or a base plate? Working with hexagons, so 30 and 60 degree mostly.<br/>

BTW, I found and imported the lumber library after creating nine from a cube. Nice to have realistic ones to work with!<br ...
