Thanks for the reply (but shouldn't it be Ctrl-X, Ctrl-Y?).
However when items are completely under a carpet/mat, you have to move the mat out of the way, select all the items, Ctrl-X, then replace the carpet/mat then Ctrl-Y.
Just thought that selecting mat and clicking a send-to-back link would ...

Send to back/bring to front feature?
If you have furniture (e.g. tables, chairs, bookcases etc) in a room, then add a carpet, the 2D view shows only the carpet, whereas the furniture and carpet are displayed correctly in 3D view.
I know that in many cases you can simulate this by having the furniture elevation starting at the height ...

Re: HTML 5 platform for H3D
Just tried this, and uploaded to Club website, and it seems to work ok. Another super piece of work.
Only comment is that the exported 3d view doesn't seem to include the cursor control, which appears top left corner in SH3D. This would be useful to allow zooming.

Re: Ensuring item always remains visible on 2D view
Thanks, but can I suggest "bring forward/send backwards" as an option for items added to a floor plan, to ensure they stay where you want them!

Ensuring item always remains visible on 2D view
This has probably been covered before, but I can't find it - sorry.
sometimes different pieces of "furniture" overlay other pieces of furniture, e.g a chair on top of a mat. However if you change things then the chair will disappear under the mat on the 2D, although it appears correctly in the 3D ...

Setting and locking building external (or internal) size
Hi,
This is probably a stupid question, but is it possible to enter the overall dimensions of a rectangular building when creating the external walls and then locking them so they don't change?
I have tried using "create room" and "create walls", but it is possible to be slightly non-square ...

Re: Rounded Roof?
Hans,
Have copied photo to Paint and have drawn curved lines curved top to the end walls

Hope it shows what is required.

Rounded Roof?
Have made a small sports centre design for a local sports club's planning application. However my design shows it having a normal ridged roof, but the planners want it to have a rounded roof (5metres at eaves, rising to 7m at centre - overall width between walls 20m).
Is it possible to show the two ...

Thanks!
Sorry for delay, but have been away for a few days.
Hadn't thought about splitting walls into 2 halves.

Re: New wall match existing sloping wall
Sorry, took some time to produce something.

The main building already exists, just need to add the smaller extension.
What is causing a problem is accurately determining height of extension ridge to match with existing roof.
