Thank you very much for your informative reply. I have a somewhat related question. We have a rectangular window in the kitchen that we are considering bordering with one row of tile all the way around. Can you advise a way to get this result?

<t>Is there a way to split a wall horizontally so I may have different textures on the same wall? I'd like to have tile in my kitchen from the floor up until the hight of the backsplash. Then from that point to the ceiling, I'd like to have paint. <br/>
