I select a thing [in this case a door who's dimensions I have adjusted & renamed] click the icon [copy] on the toolbar, [right click & highlight copy, left click it], or ctrl + C

when I go to paste it appears on top of the original [no matter where I try to select]

so my work around becomes modify ...

I have been reading the manual
& I do see the section about importing 3d models, but I don't see a thing about exporting furniture, though there is something about exporting the entire plan

I played around some more & can copy off the furniture list next the 3d view, though I can't read the ...

When I was learning to use SH & was trying edit walls, I kept re-reading the manual it reads choose Plan. I looked high & low on every menu & never did find a choose plan command...lol

I can double click on a window or door & get the dimensions just right, but I don't see how to keep using these settings for there are only 2 sizes of both windows & doors in the house I'm reproducing. copy/paste doesn't seem to work...
