Furniture Categories

Is it possible to easily add more Furniture Categories. Reason for asking is I recently made some construction items such as Beams, Tubes and Trunking and it would be useful to add them to a category such as metals or maybe construction.

I hoped using the furniture library editor would allow the ...

Sorry forgot to say also made right angle bends in both tube and trunking by using sloping walls to make half of a bend then imported it twice to get 2 halves. Then set them up as right angle bend and exported the 2 together to make bend.

Yes there is a way to do pipes.

I did it by making a small circular wall and then exporting it as a piece of furniture. Then re-importing this and scaling it. I also made a small rectangular set of walls and exported that as trunking.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I have tried that and the use of walls exported as shown in one of the threads on forum. Both worked ok but are somewhat long winded but do work.

The advanced editing plug-in currently allows some rotation and I was hoping it would not take much to add rotation in the ...

Rotate objects in X Y or Z axis

Think Sweet Home 3D is a brilliant piece of software.

I have added the additional plugins for advanced editing etc. and it would be great if the rotate option allowed the user to rotate an object in any or all 3 planes i.e. the X Y and Z planes.

This would make things much easier to build ...
