Thanks, I learned from your link that the elevation is relative to the top of the floor, not the bottom (ceiling lower level). Solved my problem.
Additionally I miscalculated the number of steps! Should have been 16 but I only counted to 14.

Designing a 2 story building. Working on a flight of stairs from Level 1 to Level 2.
Level 1 is Wall-height 303cm, Level 2 is Floor-height 22cm. My understanding is that the stair should be 325cm high.
However, the top of the stairs is only level at 330cm.
Why the extra 5 cm?

My problem: I have drawn a line and want to change it higher up the wall. In the 3D-view the points can not be selected only in the 2D-plan. How can I change the elevation of a line or its points?

Thanks for the easy solution. Sounds more useful then the category list. I can never decide to put the sink into bathroom, kitchen or workshop category. Keyword "sink" and all the sinks are listed. I will try!
