Ok, I'll look at it again.<br/>

Je suis étonné de votre problème.<br/>
J'ai fait l'essai avec deux murs très proches l'un de l'autre et ça n'a pas posé de problème.<br/>

How do you prevent one wall from bleeding into another wall
<t>I want to place siding on the exterior of my house, so I create a new wall and place it in front of the house walls. Looks fine in 2D, but not in 3D. In 3D, The walls of the house bleed into the new wall. It doesn't matter if the new wall is touching the old walls or not, doesn't matter how thick ...

Re: Is there a way to draw cables and pipes inside the walls?
<t>So you turn off magnetism, draw the object where you want it, then turn magnetism back on. It works on the entire file not specific objects so you have to keep turning it on and off as necessary. Got it. Thank you, I never noticed that feature so it never occurred to me to search for 'magnetism ...

Is there a way to draw cables and pipes inside the walls?
<r>I would like to draw cables (electric, coax, etc) and pipes inside the walls, the way they will go IRL, not outside the walls. I think this would be helpful so I can see exactly where everything is and plan out exactly what path to run the cables and pipes through. However when I attempt to move ...

Re: Why are the elevations wrong?
<t>After I woke up this morning I thought about what UbuntuBirdy said about the levels again. It's true, I was on the wrong level. I have 3 levels in the basement because that's how the foundation was built. So I opened SweetHome after being away from it for a while, saw that I was in the basement ...

Re: Why are the elevations wrong?
The pipes are on the same level.
I'm not doing anything differently than when I originally drew all the other things in. The only thing I can think of that might be causing this problem is, I upgraded SweetHome to version 6.3.

Re: Why are the elevations wrong?
<t>Those boxes are checked. It made no difference.<br/>
<br/>
This is just one example. A pipe I drew months ago says Elevation: 53. When I add another pipe, with the same elevation, 53, it does not appear 53cm off the floor. It appears way higher than that. Yet both the old pipe and the new pipe ...

Why are the elevations wrong?
<t>I drew my house and put in a lot of features, like pipes, months ago. I recently came back to finish drawing in more pipes. But for some unknown reason, the elevations are all wrong. For example, a pipe I drew months ago has an elevation of 53. It is 53cm off the floor. I want to draw another ...
