I think many people put portable pieces of software in an internal hdd or in fast usb3.0 drives.
But I the ´work´ bug fix is a good news anyway.
And thanks for doing that portable update so quickly this time.

Re: Sweet Home 3D 4.1
Good job, manu.
We won't have to delete by hand the 'Work' folder content anymore, except for users of the portable version : are you going to update it too ?
And why not moving those folders into the sh3d portable path, and make it even more portable ?

Re: Portable version
Yes, total portability sounds like the best choice.
Last but not least, the absolute portability of this version comes from the fact that users don't have to install JRE package anymore.
Tat's the icing on the cake, imo.
Good job.

Re: Portable version
I forgot to mention one thing :
Nothing less than 531 mo of free space is necessary to unzip the archive and be able to use SH3D portable.
But some users will be glad to know that you can reduce it to one third, that is 179 mo.
To achieve that, you must delete unused folders and files, specially ...

Re: Portable version
Thanks for the good news !
It seems to work like a charm (for basic operations so far. (We'll see later what happens in a real work session.)
Anyway, I've already put the install version into the trash !
I always prefere portable apps because I often backup/restore ghost images of my system.

Re: Sweet Home 3D 3.5
Anti collision works fine. However an "anti-collision" checkbox in each furniture properties could be usefull for special needs.
Kudos for the ctrl zoom function too ! Great improvement ! I have a dream of a similar powerful function in aerial view window... [;)]
Thanks for that new upgrade !

Re: Change center-position in 3D aerial mode
You're right Ivedin. That's why so many users come up against that zoom limit :
it is for sure the biggest drawback of the so useful aerial view mode.
Can we hope an improvement (or an answer at least) on that particular point ?

Re: Change center-position in 3D aerial mode
Emmanuel,
Yes you're right, sometimes you answer very quickly, but sometimes you just don't. That's a fact and I don't want to play any bad game with you. Peace !
(By the way, if you read me carefully, you'll see that I never used the word "arrogance".)
Anyway, thank you very much to react this ...

Thanks for your testimony, hansmex !
I'm also pretty sure that many of us are concerned by the issue.
Emmanuel, if there is no way to fix it, why not tell us ?
I posted this message 2 weeks ago, and no news from you.
I know your very busy, and I know you're the only one who decides what's worth ...
