Updated to 4.0, now I can't render advanced photos. How to I go back to the less buggy version?

Now it won't start. "Could not create the Java virtual machine"

I'd like to use as much as possible. My comp has 4GB right now.

I read that, but don't understand how to enter the code in the file.

I like the program, but it needs to use more memory than 540MB. It is, after all, a 3d graphics program. 540 isn't enough to work on his res photos. Either that, or let it use my graphics card, which is wasted.

I know there is a way to get a GB of usage, but the instructions don't actually explain ...

Instead of being cryptic, can't you guys just clearly explain a solution? I want to do the same thing, and even after reading every post in the thread, I still have no idea how to make something more transparent.

Why can't I import anthing new, other than what's on the 3D Model page? Anything from an outside web site, including Google doesn't import properly. Either no color, or broken apart.
