<r>Hello everybody,<br/>
<br/>
after some time of housebuilding I am back to Sweet Home to do some additional planning.<br/>
<br/>
At the moment, I am wondering if there is a possibility to calculate the perimeter of a room (that means to add all lengths of walls in this room) - this would be a ...

Re: Change center-position in 3D aerial mode
<r>Maybe pial, Ivedin and myself are the only ones that think this way? I agree 100% to your explanations (elevated virtual visitor is nice but definitely not as useful as aerial view is).<br/>

Re: Change center-position in 3D aerial mode
<r><QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>I think that behind the debate of centering the scene or not, (which has a partial solution by adding objects on the edge), there is a bigger drawback that is the zoom limit. <br/>

Re: Change center-position in 3D aerial mode
Pierre, I agree 100%. Although I understand Emmanuel's point of view, it is neither intuitive nor effective to have the center forced to be in the middle of the bounding box of all created objects. But I will not give up hope for this feature next to be implemented

Re: Simple keyboard shortcuts
<r>The user interfaces of many (many...) popular programs support this idea (I think all graphic/photo editors like Photoshop, Gimp...), so I think it can not be wrong.<br/>

Simple keyboard shortcuts
<t>I think it would be very effective to use "single key shortcuts" for the key features, for example...<br/>

- dimension tool "d"<br/>
- move "m"<br/>

Strange behaviour when zooming
<r>I have been working with SH for some days, and now I am noticing a strange behaviour when zooming in:<br/>
For example, an item (furniture object or a wall) is selected and in the middle of the screen at (36, 36) <I><s>[I have a big model with some of the neighbour houses]</s>.<br/>

Re: Ways to get a better 3D view / Export to SketchUp and Google Earth
<t>Edit: meanwhile I found out that the "wrong lines" in the topmost level occur when the option "draw ceilings" is activated - with this, Sweet Home tries to find corresponding points to draw a correct projection of the floor which has to go wrong if floor and ceiling are not parallel.<br/>
