Of course I watched the whole trilogy, more than once... but the first chapter is my favorite; nothing like that had ever been shown on film before. The rest of the sequel is not so impressive, although I really like the scene with the Merovingian, with the reference to The Merovingian dynasty where the Merovingians were increasingly pushed further and further into a mere ceremonial role prior to their final dethronement. Very well told, and beautifully acted.
