Re: Video renderin speed low
What is your file size?
How many light sources does your design have?
Do you have trees or plants in your design?

In the photo creation dialog, what quality do you use? 1, 2, 3 or 4?

Clovis,

If you want, send me your file, and I will make a test render.

Re: Video renderin speed low
Clovis,

Before doing a test render on your file, I made a few changes. I decreased the number of lights from 11 to 6, because that would speed up rendering, while still allowing enough light.
I did the render on a computer with two cores running Ubuntu 11.10, and 2GB of RAM allotted to SH3D. No other processes were running that consumed a lot of computer time.
Check this paragraph in the FAQ to learn how you can allot more memory to SH3D.
How can I adjust the memory used by Sweet Home 3D?
The initial estimate of SH3D was that the rendering would take +/- 1h30m; the actual rendering took +/- 1h40m.
The settings were as I found in your file: Q3 at 320x240 pixels at 25 frames.
My guess would be that a rendering at Q4 would take probably 4x as much time.

My guess is that a machine with 4 processor cores should do the render in approximately half the time of my machine.
You may want to check that
- your computer uses all 4 cores
- you don't have a program running at the same time that uses a lot of processor time.

I have sent the modified file and the movie to your email.
