I found the rooms to be much smaller in 3D view than they are.Whenever I used a floor plan of a flat in sh3d as a background and later on walked through it using the 3D view the areas were always smaller than they are. Why is that and what to change? |

Re: I found the rooms to be much smaller in 3D view than they are. Not sure what you mean. Were the dimensions in the 2D plan correct? If not, you may have to re-scale your plan. As for the walk-through (virtual visitor), could it be a question of perspective? Does it still look wrong if you adjust the field of view? ok |

Re: I found the rooms to be much smaller in 3D view than they are. What fov should I use to have a real life perception? |

Re: I found the rooms to be much smaller in 3D view than they are. Well, that depends on your personal perception of your own field of vision. I tend to find that the default is a bit narrow minded for my taste - and increase the FOV by 10-30%. But a again, it is up to you, but you should see a difference if you try to increase it. See if it works - and good luck. ok |
