Re: classic edition
Hello my friends. Here I come with the first part of some new images. I refresh an old project called KASTIEL I presented here on this thread very long time ago. It was the time when the renderer on sh3d was not in such a good shape like this time and also my experience with the application was very short. Now I refresh and remodeled this project and try to repeat the same views as previous or made some new with new renderer.
All these images I presented here were made by these settings:
GI:PATH
DB:1
Caustics:0
Shiness:silk
focus distance:500
focus radius:0,5
algorythm:IPR
Depth of field:ON
sky brightness:16
original size of pictures is 10000x5625 pixels /then resized to 2000x1125 pixels/
all these pictures were made by ASUS ROG with Intel core i7 6700HQ /4cores,8threads/ graphic card and in post production I tried to help with some small corrections in photo editor POLARR PRO application. I tried to find here some photorealism by using some leaks and fx effects in postproduction. I try to make it not so clear and detailed this way which may look more realistic /not sure/... There is not 2D background objects there. All plants are 3D.
At first let me show you an old view from this thread but with the new tree models and textures

The second picture is the view of the new building here in this garden I made in "pseudo art noveau" style

and here some other views of this project....

Re: classic edition
Beautiful, Martin. It looks nearly real (especially the third rendering)!

Re: classic edition
Thank you @hal9000 .....When you will be rich I am only yours laughing ...to create some palace on Spanish coast is nice dream

@bdfd I use the option 'save and compress' so it is only 186MB and rendering time takes from 2 to 6 hours....with i7 6700HQ it runs pretty fast.

@VeroniQ thank you... I am happy if you like it. You know I still try to find new different way how to make it as real as possible.. The result is sometimes better...hhmmmm and sometimes not biggrin

Re: classic edition
Amazing work Martin, excellent renders and the attention to detail, well, i have no words for that, as for 10000 pixals, takes me 10 or 12 hrs to render at 3000, lol, i can imagine my little 9 year old acer showing a splash screen saying " p... off, if i tried those settings. laughing

Re: classic edition
Thank you Mike. I understand your feeling. It was the same for me with an old Asus I had before. It's only sad for me that it's not possible to render pictures with GPU here. But I am sure there are some specialists here who will find the way how to create some GPU renderer. /I know it's not easy/
Now I come with the second part of the 'KASTIEL party' and it's the small view for the night session....

Hope you like some of that... And thanx for watching this thread. Wish you a lot of success and inspiration for your creations.
Martin
