Re: Photo-video rendering plug-in @waleedfahmy I wish if one of experts make a detailed tutorial about rendering and setting . I get good results but after many trials and not totally satisfied with results VeroniQ has created a blog tutorial "How to create a nice photo rendering" and a video tutorial "How to create nice photo renderings". Ceciliabr has created a detailed tutorial explaining his techniques and tips for a photo-realistic rendering. For the description of the Sunflow rendering parameters, you can consult this document. Thank you :) |

Re: Photo-video rendering plug-in Regarding the problem of video rendering, everything works correctly? No, but that's not a biggie.Regarding the transparency, that's not a biggie either, but it could be an option? Is it really important to see the size of the image? It's only when using Spiral that you're not able to visually imagine the size of the finished rendering. The next big innovation will be the addition of the YafaRay rendering engine when its beta phase is over. Looking forward to that. But please don't abandon Sunflow quite yet. Cec |

Re: Photo-video rendering plug-in Is it really important to see the size of the image? I think so because it is scaled to be visible in the photo panel regardless of its resolution.Regarding the transparency, that's not a biggie either, but it could be an option? I do not intend to abandon Sunflow but I prefer to leave the choice of the rendering engine to the end user as in this old plug-in by adding YafaRay. This will imply a change of the interface by favoring the display of advanced settings. But please don't abandon Sunflow quite yet. ---------------------------------------- EnkoNyito |

Re: Photo-video rendering plug-in This plugin is perfect! I love the different rendering options and the new save function. Rendering parts of an image, saves a lot of rendering time when you want to correct something. Now I just have to learn what all the new parameters are doing, and how to use them. Excellent work! Thank you! Xiste |

Thank you! Xiste Thank you Xiste! Nice to see you like this plug-in. I started working on its new interface for adding the rendering engine selector. There will no longer be the ambient lighting slider or the display of the estimated remaining time that is not very reliable. The Enhance external brightness checkbox will be renamed Enable sky lighting. The Advanced settings button would access the properties of the selected rendering engine. Who says two rendering engines, says twice as many parameters to assimilate and surely to detail. Enko ---------------------------------------- EnkoNyito |

Re: Photo-video rendering plug-in If I use the simple photo rendering V1.8 with enhanced external brightness - it slow down so much, that even a 240x123 px picture doesn't show anything (no estimated time, no draft view) after 10 minutes. Any hints? |

Re: Photo-video rendering plug-in @MichaelN If I use the simple photo rendering V1.8 with enhanced external brightness - it slow down so much, that even a 240x123 px picture doesn't show anything (no estimated time, no draft view) after 10 minutes. Any hints? Difficult to answer in detail without more information. Enhanced external brightness takes a lot of time with a sky texture, a great image resolution, at night. The global illumination used also has an influence. I advise you to perform a test without it being enabled to see the rendering time and have a comparison. All objects in ChristmasLights.sh3d have been matted to avoid differences in shininess between the renderers. For the moment, the YafaRay rendering engine is not compatible with these light panels. ---------------------------------------- EnkoNyito |
