Install pugin in Linux version
Hello,
I downloaded SweetHome3D Linux version, where it runs without installation (just unpack and launch SweetHome3D script)
The application it self runs without problem.

As next step I wanted to add some the Plugin.
Here http://www.sweethome3d.com/pluginDeveloperGuide.jsp
I have read, that plugins should be added here:
.eteks/sweethome3d/plugins of your user folder.
In my case the subfolder plugins was not there, so I created it

As next step I downloaded this plugin:
https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/plug-in...omputeRemainderVolume.rar

and placed to the recommended folder:
.eteks/sweethome3d/plugins of your user folder.

I started the application, but in menu I do not see some new section ..like the Tool.
What I do wrongly?
Thanks for any hint!

Re: Install pugin in Linux version
I guess you are trying to install the plug-in #8. You should copy TheRestOfTheFurnitureInTheRoomplugin.jar file in .eteks/sweethome3d/plugins folder rather than the RAR file which contains the source code of the plug-in.

Re: Install pugin in Linux version
Of course, This is logic, that we have to unpack and place there the content of the package. Exactly this I made.

But in the case of the plugin which I wanted to it is RAR.
https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/plug-in...omputeRemainderVolume.rar

1) I downloaded the package
2) Unpacked
3) The content I placed into the mentioned directory

look here:
ls /home/zoja/.eteks/sweethome3d/plugins/

/home/zoja/.eteks/sweethome3d/plugins/RemainderPlugin.java

Re: Install pugin in Linux version
Maybe my message wasn't clear enough: Do not copy RemainderPlugin.java it won't work. Copy TheRestOfTheFurnitureInTheRoomplugin.jar in /home/zoja/.eteks/sweethome3d/plugins/

Re: Install pugin in Linux version
Thank You...
TheRestOfTheFurnitureInTheRoomplugin.jar works. But the plugin about which I spoke I thought will be able count cubic meters of walls. Exist some such pluging to get m³ of wall?
