Even a better solution:
- when exporting from Sketchup, select Options
- make sure that Two Faces is checked (not sure how it's called exactly)
- then export as DAE

Do this with all models you export from Sketchup.

I made a house.sh3d model and the roof was imported from a GoogleSketchUp model.

However, when in SweetHome3D, the roof is not shown as expected because one can't see it's all sides but only the opposite sides from the view point. It is shown like the slooping ceiling.

Indeed, it is a result of a simple copy-paste I didn't pay attention for.

When I scroll slowly the 2D window I found a furniture that was forgotten far from the house model.

After I delete it, the 3D window recovered with and the house model come now close.

I'm running SweetHome3D version 4,5 on Arch linux at home.

I have created a house model. I start it in SWH3D version 4.5, then continue in version 4.6 then return to version 4.5.

This is because I move my work from house to the school and vica versa.
At school there is installed the 4.6 ...

A .sh3d file contains everything that was added to the plan.
What makes you think something is missing? How are displayed the missing objects?
If a .sh3d file contains everything that was added to the plan, then it is good.
Probably my pupil make a mistake here. I asked it yesterday for this issue ...

When in school my pupil saved a document and at home opened, there are not included some furniture that the pupil downloaded and imported in to work.

How to save the document to have included all furniture in it?

I just installed Sweethome3D on my PC Box ( ArchLinux --> ParabolaGNUlinux ) with the GeForce 7600 GT graphic card and I'm using nouveau xorg-driver.

In the second display I can't see the 3D preview but only garbage.
