Re: An Ugly Mansion - in detail.
@ HawkDawg
I looked up The Night Gallery on youtube, and got some great ideas for re-decorating. The show was unfortunately not shown on Danish ( or Norwegian) TV.
We wanted to make something like the mansion in Dark Shadows, but we soon realised that our ambition was greater than our skills ...

I see now that you aren't looking for real world prices. Just a general price index based on your design at the moment.

Based on what economy? In the US alone, with only 50 states, there's probably thousands of different economical variations.
A couch in North Georgia would most likely have a different cost than in mid or south Georgia, and even more different on the east coast and west border. [;)]

Re: An Ugly Mansion - in detail.
Normally I prefer log/wood or brick houses and really dislike concrete ( as an electrician I've worked on several concrete buildings and they're a pain in the *** [:O] ), but your Ugly Mansion is really quite good looking.

Re: Heights and elevations
Have you looked at some of the doors at the external links on the 3D Models page of this site, down near the bottom?
In particular, Trimble 3D Warehouse & Archive3D.
Not all models at those sites will work in SH3D but some of them will.
I've used a few models from Archive3D but none from Trimble.

Re: Heights and elevations
While on the subject of doors and windows though, what does the 'keep proportions' checkbox do? Doesn't seem to make any difference and is unset when I check again. I thought it meant maintain the same ratios, but I tried it with the cylinder and could still drag the circle into an ellipse so looks ...
