Re: View your homes in VR mode
I've been working on this myself and have an iOS app working with Google Cardboard. It's still a very manual process to import a house into my app and requires rebuilding the app. I'm hoping to simplify this and make it usable for others too when I find the time.

Re: VR mode for your 3d home
I've been interested in something similar. What I've done is rendered spherical 360 panorama images, which I can then view in cardboard. This gives a great view of the rooms, but is a static image, so I can't "walk" through the house. See this thread (http://www.sweethome3d.com/support/forum ...

Recalculate floor
It would be great if there was a feature to recalculate the layout of a floor, taking into account doors and such. The issue I have is that I create a set of walls defining a room and add doors to the room. Then I fill in the floor area, which automatically calculates small indents for those doors ...

Re: Export to HTML5 plug-in
Hi,
I tried to use your Blender import script, but it failed. The error was that it couldn't find a file. I'm guessing it was because the file has a space in the name. The error message said it couldn't find "Grand%20Piano.dae.obj". That file does exist, but %20 is a space instead.
Any ideas?

Export to OBJ with lighting
Is there anyway to export my scene to an OBJ (or other file) such that the lights are preserved? As far as I can tell the current OBJ export doesn't contain this info.

contribute patch to SH3D
As mentioned in [this thread](http://www.sweethome3d.com/support/foru ... hread,8039), I've created a small patch to SH3D and Sunflow that allows you to generate stereoscopic 360 images. I'd like to contribute this to SH3D so others can use it too. What's the best way to do this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Generating 360 degree stereoscopic images
So, I managed to hack together a fix. I added two new camera types to Sunflow, the raytracer used to generate the images. They are "Spherical Left" and "Spherical Right". They're very similar to the default spherical camera, but as they render the image the adjust the eye position accordingly.
The ...

Re: Generating 360 degree stereoscopic images
Thanks for the example. I think I wasn't clear. I'm able to create 360 panoramas fine, and view them. The problem is that I want to create stereoscopic 360 panorama. Those are made from two images, one for the left eye and one for the right. Having this gives depth to the image so you can tell what ...

Re: Generating 360 degree stereoscopic images
Do you generate two images, one for each eye, or just a single image?
I agree it works fine as a 360 panorama, but when trying to combine two images is where I have problems.

Generating 360 degree stereoscopic images
I've been playing around with generating 360 degree stereoscopic images for use with my Google Cardboard (other VR devices should work too). Basically what I do is generate two spherical image that are offset by 6cm, one for the left eye and one for the right. This are works pretty well, but I've ...
