today i try my next attempt with SH3D.
i miss here 2 feature

a) merge room and walls. eg: so, if i change room (position or size) that the wall also change (or reverse)

b1) dimensioning: change the size/lenght via dimensioning
b2) dimensioning: when ...

Even if it could come sooner than expected, the current version of Sweet Home 3D doesn't have any tool to help you draw "free" colored lines in the plan. If you need some electric symbols, you could check if the font used by Sweet Home 3D supports the Unicode symbols that could help you.

is it possible to add a complete electric installation in my rooms (cable, circuits,...)?

and is it possible to add dimensioning for the walls?

ive here a 64bit-machine with quad core (e5620) and 24GB RAM. i think i can make more as one rendering-picture in a night. i hope the developer found a solution for faster machines.

perhaps sweethome can start only with a empty folder for the pictures.

perhaps:

- it is possilbe to define a save-folder in the rendering menu or setup-menu
- it is possible to make snapshots in the rendering menu. each snapshot is rendered, so that i can make more as one rendering-photo over night
- every rendering photo has a prefix with date and time
eg picture ...

great plugin, but it is possible to add a button
"save and shutdown pc after rendering" ?

it seems not correct, Java use only 400-500MB of my RAM...

i change the shortcut to
C:\Windows\System32\java.exe -Xmx4096m -jar "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sweet Home 3D\lib\SweetHome3D-3.2.jar

i put the SweetHome3D-3.2.jar in my lib folder
an make a shortcut on my desktop to this file.

but if i change in the properties from
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Sweet Home 3D\lib\SweetHome3D-3.2.jar"
to
java ...
