Re: Recreating industrial loft scene
Your issue with Yafaray is probably related to the amount of memory allocated to SH3D. There are posts on here for setting the memory allocation higher. I find Yafaray just works perfectly once the memory allocation is high enough.

Re: Recreating industrial loft scene
Cecilia's work is amazing and I have read quite a few of her posts on here. She does manage to get the best out of SH3D.
Here is an example of one of the virtual rooms if anyone is interested.

Re: Recreating industrial loft scene
I'm using Yafaray to render 360 virtual rooms and I'm pretty happy with the results but lighting and some more realistic models could make a difference I think.

Re: Recreating industrial loft scene
I guess I'll have to learn Blender but is there not a way to improve the lighting options and texture features to allow some complexity closer to Blender but maybe not as mind blowing.

Recreating industrial loft scene
Is it possible to create a similar sort of scene in SH3D?

Re: More precision in the measurement fields
Maybe there could be an option set somewhere to enable more precision. That way by default it behaves as it does now but if you need more than a millimetre you can enable that if needed. Maybe this hasn't ever come up before.

Re: More precision in the measurement fields
Yes I realise that but if you have a lot of these then its hard to keep track of the true value needed when needing to edit them again.

More precision in the measurement fields
Is it possible to increase the precision in the measurements fields so that I can more accurate position items?

Re: Unable to load or render textures on remote machine
I shall give that a go but I think its based around RDP not working with Open GL. Possibly only an issue with the graphics card that happens to be in the machine which I think is aan Intel HD card but I cant see how to get the model number. I've even tried Intel's tool.
