Can't save in OSX 10.6

Hi

I've found this software really useful, especially as we've just bought out first house and have been choosing new furniture, so seeing what will fit in the room before parting with any money is great!

After upgrading my OS to 10.6, I've discovered I'm no longer able to save my floorplans, is this a known issue or is it just me?

Thanks

Ben

Re: Can't save in OSX 10.6

I didn't hear about this problem yet, and didn't buy Mac OS X 10.6 upgrade yet.

But before creating a new bug report, let's see if it's not an other problem.

What error do you get?
Do you have any piece of furniture icon marked with a red cross in the furniture list?
Did you succeed to create a new home and save it?
If yes, did you succeed to create a new home, copy all the items of an old home and paste them in the new home, and save the new home?

Re: Can't save in OSX 10.6

The error I got was 'unable to save newhouse.sh3d in...'

None of the furniture items showed a red cross.

I had already tried to copy and paste the contents of the floor plan into a new file and save it, but had got the same error message.

I've just tried creating a new file and created a square room and was able to save it, so I copied one of my rooms into the file and saved it, so continued with each room until I got the error message again. In the end I had to delete all of the furniture from one room before I was able to save it, but the strange thing is, it's allowed me to save the file after re-adding all the same items of furniture.

The application has been running since Friday, and I can't be certain when I last saved it, so this might also have had something to do with it.

Thanks for your help, and also for the application, which I've already recommended to a number of friends who are currently planning renovations on their homes.
