angry How do I enable top-down view in linux SH3D?

In the Windows version of the program it automatically shows top-down view of objects in the grid. But in Linux the program shows a generic box with a picture of the object. How can I enable top-down view in the linux version of SweetHome3D?

Select the Top view option in the preferences pane. And if it's not possible, try running Sweet Home 3D with the SweetHome3D-Java3D-1_5_2 script which may work differently.
