Adding lintols (lintels) between two walls

I am trying to add a lintel/lintol to a wall that's been removed, i.e. there is now a structural beam at the top (height 50cm, elevation 200cm), which is considered part of and integrates perfectly with the wall.

I cannot create a wall that has an elevation. This post this post suggests I add another level and change its elevation to 200cm, then add a wall of 50cm, but this seems like a pretty bad hack.

Similarly, using a "miscellaneous box", as suggested here, but that is also a hack, and the box is displayed in a different shade than the wall (despite the colours being exactly the same).

An alternative might be a "frameless door frame", but no such object seems to exist.

How is one supposed to do this properly?

Insert a door frame inside the wall, edit the dimensions, make "white" materiel invisible

Just to be clear, SH3d is an extremely powerful software, but some mode "complex" things requires a bit of imagination and a lot of so called "hacks".

You must be ready to "hack" your project if you want nicer results.
