Polyline and walls contour. How to change angle?

The question is about drawing walls and polylines. Please tell me who made the sector-by-sector movement of the line from the corner point (24 sectors by 360 degrees) when drawing a corner? This is terribly inconvenient! How can I draw the contour of a polyline and walls smoothly and freely in this program!? Often you need completely different angles that are available when a circle is divided into 24 sectors! Why the program doesn't allow a simple vector graphic line of a free form and contour?

Reading the help would have given you the answer: deactivate magnetism.

Re: Polyline and walls contour. How to change angle?

Thanks for the tip... But more questions has arisen recently:

- Why a segment of a wall can be transformed into the form of an arc, but segment of a polyline cannot? How to make a freeformed line contour, like in an ordinary vector graphic editor? An architector may need to make a more complex line contour, not only straight segments and simple symmetric arcs..
That wonderful program needs a full vector lines creating module, as in Corel Designer, for example.. To make a model of building with walls of variable thickness and complex geometry, one needs a good vector contour line creating tool..

- When I select a segment of a wall, there is no ability to open the menu "change wall" by right-clicking on it, the context menu is the same as without wall selecting, and I have to open "change walls" point every time
It's annoying a little.

These are just my considerations and suggestions for improvements! ))
Thank you so much for your work!
The program is quite good, and vector lines creating tools would make it absolutely excellent!

Re: Polyline and walls contour. How to change angle?

To change a wall, I see the option in the context menu (right click), it shows you can open the modal with the Ctrl+Shift+E shortcut, or you can double-click on the wall. (Same for a room.)
You don't lack options.

But indeed, the context menu isn't totally contextual, in the sense it shows generic options AND the options relative to the selected item. Perhaps the latter could be on top, at least, so they are more visible?

Re: Polyline and walls contour. How to change angle?

Well, perhaps it's all right for the menu...
I've just found a curve creating function - Holding a CTRL key when drawing a polyline.. But the truth is that the method of vector line creating is quite peculiar - there is no new control points creating option for correcting the line form, no combination of straight and curved segments in one polyline.. In general, the working with vector polyline is rather primitive and limited in that program, a set of vector line instruments would be a good option here.

And a tool for changing the geometry of the wall profile to create complex wall structures, would not really hurt. An ideal variant - creating contour plan of walls by vector line instrument, then filling the contour with a "fill tool", and mapping that scheme in the 3D screen...
It's a sweet dream of 3D architectural design!

In my practice, the most effective and handy set of tools for vector drawing I found in Corel Designer program (Technical Suite).
