How do I create an Arched Roof

I am trying to design a cabin based on website: Https://archedcabins.com. In this case a 30x40 cabin with arched walls that at the center point is 17' I thought perhaps using the arc on the walls would do something but that is for a curved wall outward/inward depending on design. In this case, I need to start at the foundation and curve upward and inward to 17' and then back down to other side so that it is symmetrical.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Tim

Re: How do I create an Arched Roof

I think SH3D hasn't this specific feature, however you could try to build the front arched wall by concatenating a bounce of sloped walls. Then duplicate the front wall to obtain the back wall. Link them with two straight low walls and add the floor.
The curved ceiling should became visible looking from inside in virtual visitor mode. To see the roof from the exterior you have to build it by assembling multiple inclined boxes.

Re: How do I create an Arched Roof

Create walls in SH3D as if you were in front projection. i.e. in SH3D looking from above it would look like â‹€ or â‹‚ or whatever before export, import and rotation.

Make them as tall as your model is deep, and arc them so they match the desired front projection. Select them, then export them as an object, then import them as a new furniture item, rotating the object so that the arch is in the correct orientation.

One word of warning, if you want textures, or windows and doorways in the model you will have to do it before export. When you import it back in it loses its ability to act like a wall. This makes it a bit inflexible, but it works in a pinch.

You may also have a look at this thread.
Instead of a single arch, use two half arches. See example
